Rope play modules for playgrounds
Rope play modules for playgrounds : notre sélection professionnelle
Rope play modules are the individual building blocks of a rope climbing playground, each unit usable on its own or combined into a longer circuit. The range covers 56 models: multi-level climbing domes such as ATRIA and NAOS, themed towers such as the RAKIETA rocket with its slide, and suspended cones and diamonds such as PROCJON and SYRJUSZ. Every module works climbing, balance and coordination, and modules can be added over successive budget cycles instead of rebuilding a whole playground at once.
How to choose a rope module
Selection starts with the free height of fall of the structure and the safety zone around it. Those two figures decide the impact attenuating surface you have to install and the minimum clear area on your plot, so they usually constrain the project before price does. A low suspended cone suits a campsite or a nursery yard; a multi-level dome suits a municipal park with older children and a larger surfacing budget. The layout plan and safety zones are supplied with the quotation, and installation is carried out in France.
Standards and surfacing
All 56 models fall under EN 1176 for playground equipment. The matching surface is covered by EN 1177: the greater the free height of fall, the thicker or more absorbent the surface has to be, whether that is rubber tiles, wet pour or loose fill.
| Point to settle | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Free height of fall | Sets the EN 1177 surface type and depth under the module |
| Safety zone | Clear area required around the module, shown on the layout plan |
| Foundations | Depend on ground conditions on your site and are confirmed before order |
| Standard | EN 1176 for the equipment, EN 1177 for the surfacing |
| Combination | Whether the module stands alone or links to an existing structure |
