Etenon R8 selectorised strength machines

R8 is the most recent selectorised line from the Spanish manufacturer Etenon Fitness. Nineteen machines are listed, built on a high strength Q235 steel structure with a black finish, antibacterial and fire retardant upholstery, and worked biomechanics. Several references are dual function, which is what distinguishes the line in a facility with limited floor area.

Dual function machines and floor area

The R8 range includes machines that combine two movements on one frame, for example a leg press and hack squat unit, or a seated leg curl and leg extension unit. For a gym with a fixed footprint, that is the difference between covering the lower body properly and leaving a gap. The counterbalanced levers on several models also reduce the starting load, which widens the range of members who can use the same machine.

Upholstery and hygiene

Antibacterial and fire retardant upholstery is a specification point rather than a marketing line: shared equipment is cleaned several times a day, and upholstery that does not tolerate that regime is the first item to fail in a commercial facility.
