Professional kettlebells

Professional kettlebells : notre sélection professionnelle

Professional kettlebells develop strength, power, explosiveness and endurance in functional training zones, coaching areas and physical preparation facilities. They cover what machines do not: ballistic work, posterior chain loading, dynamic core work and coordination. Light In Fitness selects formats suited to clubs, studios, coaches and gyms, with professional advice on set composition.

Competition or cast format

Competition kettlebells keep the same body dimensions and handle diameter across every weight, so technique does not change as the load increases. Cast kettlebells grow in size with the weight, which is acceptable for general conditioning but changes the grip and the rack position between weights. For coached technical work, the constant dimension of the competition format is the deciding factor.

Criterion Competition format Cast format
Dimensions across weights Constant Increase with weight
Handle diameter Constant Varies
Best fit Coached technical work, classes General conditioning, mixed use
Storage Uniform footprint on a rack Varied footprint

Set composition and storage

A kettlebell rack should be ordered with the set. Kettlebells left on the floor damage coatings, block circulation routes and are a trip hazard in a class environment. For class based programming, size the set so every participant has the weight they need at the same time, which usually means duplicating the mid range. Under the working area, rubber gym flooring tiles protect the slab. See also fitness accessories.

Frequently asked questions

Which weights should a club stock?

A general commercial set commonly runs from 4 kg to 32 kg, with the mid range duplicated because that is where demand concentrates. Classes need more units of fewer weights; open floor use needs a wider range in single units. Send us your format and class size and we will size the set.

Does the coating matter?

Yes, because kettlebells are set down on the floor constantly and the coating is what protects both the bell and the surface. A durable coating also keeps the set looking serviceable, which matters in a visible functional zone. Ask for the coating type on the quotation.

Tell us your class size and programming, and we will return a kettlebell set proposal with a rack. Request a quotation for a reply within 24 working hours.
