Equestrian stable matting and rubber pavers
Equestrian stable matting and rubber pavers : notre sélection professionnelle
Equestrian stable matting protects the horse and the building at the same time: it cushions the joints, insulates against a cold concrete slab and keeps the floor of a box or an alleyway non-slip when wet. Light In Fitness supplies interlocking rubber pavers for stables, stud farms, riding schools and alleyways, sold by the square metre.

Interlocking pavers are laid without adhesive, which is what makes them practical in an equestrian building: a damaged area is lifted and replaced piece by piece, and the floor can be taken up entirely if a box changes use. The two colours allow alleyways, wash areas and individual boxes to be distinguished at a glance, which helps in a yard where several people handle the horses.
Laying is on a flat, compacted and drained base. Slope and drainage are settled first, because rubber holds water where the base does not shed it. For arenas and drainage systems beyond the box floor, and for the surrounding areas, see outdoor sports flooring and rubber gym flooring tiles.
