Solid Rock Outdoor plate loaded machines
Solid Rock Outdoor plate loaded machines : notre sélection professionnelle
Solid Rock Outdoor is the outdoor version of the Bodytone plate loaded range, built in stainless steel for permanent installation without shelter. Eight machines are listed. They carry the same plate loaded principle as the indoor Solid Rock line, with reinforced corrosion protection so the equipment can stand on an urban fitness area, a city stadium or a municipal site with no plant room and no cover.
Plate loaded training in the open air
Most outdoor fitness equipment works at body weight, which caps the training load. Plate loaded machines outdoors change that: the resistance is set with Olympic discs, so an athlete can train at a load that means something. The trade off is supervision, since plates have to be stored, secured and returned, which is why these machines are specified for managed sites such as a city stadium, a club training area or a military facility rather than for a fully open park.
Corrosion protection and siting
Stainless steel construction is the reason this line can be left outdoors. On coastal sites or where de-icing salt is used, 316L grade stainless is the specification to ask for. Foundations are sized to ground conditions and installation is carried out in France, with the layout plan supplied at quotation stage.

Frequently asked questions
Are plates supplied with the machines?
They are quoted separately, along with the storage arrangement, which has to be decided before installation.
Is this equipment suitable for a fully open public park?
It is better suited to managed sites, because plates must be stored and controlled. Body weight outdoor equipment is the usual answer for free access parks.
What maintenance does an outdoor machine need?
Periodic inspection of bearings, pivots and fixings, plus cleaning. Warranty runs from 2 to 5 years depending on the range.
