The Xebex air rower, available as Air Rower 2.0 and 3.0, is one of the most widely used ergometers in CrossFit and Hyrox competition in France. The fan adapts automatically to intensity: the harder the athlete pulls, the higher the resistance. The performance monitor displays watts, calories, time, distance and stroke rate, and recent models include Smart Connect over Bluetooth and ANT+. The Xebex air bike, supplied in ABMG-3, ABVR-2L and AirPlus Cycle versions, drives the fan through both pedals and moving arms, which loads the upper and lower body at once and makes it the reference machine for Tabata, AMRAP and EMOM formats. The Xebex ski ergometer reproduces the double pole skiing action for standing upper body and trunk conditioning.

Installation, noise and maintenance

Air resistance machines are louder than magnetic ones by design, since the fan is the brake. That is rarely a problem in a box but should be checked where a training area adjoins offices, treatment rooms or residential space. Steel construction handles intensive gym use, and maintenance is limited to cleaning, checking chain or belt tension and inspecting the seat rail on rowers. How many machines does a box need?

Where every participant works simultaneously on the same machine type, one per participant is required; where stations rotate, one per two or three participants is usually enough.
