Professional strength training machines
Professional strength training machines : notre sélection professionnelle
This range covers the professional strength training machines used to equip commercial gyms, CrossFit boxes, hotels, local authority facilities, armed forces sites and premium home gyms. It brings together selectorised machines, plate loaded and converging machines, squat racks and power racks, presses, multi station gyms, benches, Olympic barbells and dumbbells. Referenced ranges include Bodytone SRX, Bodytone Forza FH, Solid Grow, Etenon, Lexco, Gold Line, Power Line, BH Fitness and the Light In Fitness Authentique line. Light In Fitness has supplied these projects from Tours since 2013 and issues quotations within 24 working hours.
What is included in this range
On the selectorised side: lat pulldown, chest press, shoulder press, seated row, leg extension, seated leg curl, leg press, abductor and adductor, plus cable crossover and functional trainer stations. On the plate loaded side: hack squat, hip thrust, flat and incline press, leg press, smith machine and converging Olympic machines that load with standard 51 mm plates. Structural equipment covers power racks, half racks and squat racks. Free weight support covers Olympic and adjustable benches, calibrated barbells, bumper plates, dumbbells and kettlebells. With more than 2 000 references in the catalogue, a full floor can be specified from a single supplier.
Selectorised or plate loaded
Both families belong in most commercial floors, but they answer different constraints. Selectorised machines suit high rotation clubs where members change load between sets without handling plates. Plate loaded machines take heavier loads, cost less to maintain because there are no cables or pulleys, and give a feel closer to free weights.
| Criterion | Selectorised machines | Plate loaded machines |
|---|---|---|
| Load change | Immediate, by pin selection | Manual, plates loaded and unloaded |
| Maximum load | Limited by the weight stack | Limited by the frame, typically 200 to 600 kg |
| Maintenance | Cables, pulleys and bearings to inspect | Bearings and bushes only |
| Best suited to | Fitness clubs, hotels, rehabilitation, mixed publics | Performance gyms, CrossFit boxes, strength areas |
| Floor requirement | Machine footprint only | Footprint plus plate storage within reach |
How to plan the layout
Three figures decide a strength floor: usable area, ceiling height and the width of circulation routes. Pull up and rack work needs clear height above the top bar, and cable crossovers need lateral clearance that catalogue footprints do not always show. Plate trees belong next to every plate loaded machine, since plates left on the floor are the main cause of damage and obstruction. Rubber gym flooring tiles under racks and drop zones protect the slab and cut structural noise. We supply an implantation drawing with the offer on complete projects.
Standards, warranty and delivery
Indoor fitness equipment falls under EN 957, published in France as EN ISO 20957, which sets safety and test requirements by machine class. Requesting the class alongside the price is useful when a specification restricts equipment to professional use. Warranty runs from 2 to 5 years depending on the range, with extensions available on steel structures. Stocked references ship in 5 to 10 working days, with standard delivery to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg and export priced per project.
Frequently asked questions
Is professional equipment necessary for a small club?
Machine class matters more than club size. A 150 m2 studio open twelve hours a day generates more cycles than a large gym used two hours an evening, so the equipment has to be rated for continuous commercial use. Domestic and semi professional frames fail early under that duty, and the replacement cost usually exceeds the initial saving.
How much space should be allowed per machine?
As a working figure, allow the machine footprint plus a user zone of about 1 m on the access sides, and keep main circulation routes at 1.2 m or more. Racks, benches and plate loaded units need additional space for loading and for spotters. The exact figures come out of the layout drawing, not from the catalogue dimensions alone.
Can a range be extended later?
Yes. Sticking to one manufacturer’s line keeps upholstery colours, frame finishes and spare parts consistent across phases. Tell us at quotation stage that the project will be phased, and we will confirm how long the chosen line is expected to stay available.
Describe your surface area, ceiling height, intended use and expected attendance, and we will return an equipment list with a layout drawing. Request a quotation for a reply within 24 working hours.
