Shock absorbing artificial turf tiles
Shock absorbing artificial turf tiles : notre sélection professionnelle
Artificial turf tiles combine a shock absorbing rubber base with a synthetic grass surface, giving the impact performance of a technical tile and the appearance of a planted area. They are used where the visual result matters as much as the technical one: sled and prowler lanes indoors, play areas, the surrounds of outdoor equipment and any zone that should not read as a black rubber floor.
Formats available
| Tile | Dimensions | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Rubber tile with artificial turf | 100 x 100 x 2.5 cm | Indoor and outdoor, sled lanes and circulation |
| Shock absorbing rubber and turf tile | 100 x 100 cm, 40 mm | Higher absorption, equipment surrounds |
Both formats install on a flat, drained base and are laid edge to edge, so a lane or a zone can be defined precisely within a larger floor. The 40 mm build is specified where free fall height or dropped load calls for more absorption than a 25 mm tile provides.
Typical buyers are local authorities, clubs and campsites. Light In Fitness advises on the thickness required for each zone and supplies the layout with the quotation. See also outdoor sports flooring and rubber gym flooring tiles.
