Professional Pilates reformer machines

Ten professional Pilates reformers are available, from EUR 1,450 to EUR 2,950 excluding VAT, in solid wood (maple, walnut) or anodised aluminium. Frames are supplied fixed, folding or fitted with a half trapeze tower, with carriages running on silent bearings, calibrated interchangeable springs and a user load of 150 to 186 kg depending on the model. The range covers independent studios, gyms with a Pilates offer, physiotherapy practices and hotel spas.

What is included with each station

Every reformer is delivered complete: jumpboard, padded box, multi position footbar, straps, handles, shoulder rests, a full spring set and transport wheels. That matters when comparing quotations, because a machine sold without the box, the jumpboard or the spring set requires additional purchases before it can be used in a class. A layout plan is provided free of charge from four stations upwards, spare parts are available within 5 days and service response is within 48 hours.

Room planning and maintenance

Allow the machine length plus clearance at both ends for the footbar and the straps, and enough width between machines for the instructor to pass and correct a client. In practice the instructor lane, not the machine, sets how many reformers a room holds. Where the studio adjoins a pool, a spa or a hammam, state the humidity exposure at enquiry stage because it changes the timber specification.
