Description
This version of the ESSENTIAL reformer adds a half trapeze tower, bringing the machine to fourteen springs with a push-through bar and a roll-down bar. The tower opens up vertical work, back, shoulders and posterior chain, without committing a second station, which matters in a studio where every square metre is charged out.
A studio wanting to offer vertical work normally has to install a Cadillac alongside its reformers, which means an additional station of 2.40 x 0.90 m tied up for part of the day. Mounting the half trapeze tower on the reformer frame recovers most of that repertoire within the existing footprint. The push-through bar and the roll-down bar are supplied with the machine.
The uprights are notched every 5 cm, so working height is matched to the client’s proportions rather than approximated. That is what prevents shoulder compensation on pulls and extensions, and it is the practical reason to prefer a notched tower over a fixed one. The whole structure dismantles in a few minutes.

What is supplied with the machine
The delivery includes the solid maple frame, the half trapeze tower, a padded box, a removable jumpboard, a padded foot bar, a padded foot platform, a set of straps, two padded shoulder rests, fourteen springs, two foot retention straps, two silent pulleys with ropes, a roll-down bar, a push-through bar and a pair of integrated wheels.
For a studio, the commercial point is throughput. A reformer with a tower runs mat, reformer and vertical work from one station, so a class timetable can move between formats without moving clients between machines. Stackability also matters where a room hosts group classes on the floor between reformer sessions.
