Equipment designed for reach, not for performance

These stations allow training from a wheelchair or seated, with controls placed within reach and clear transfer space alongside. The objective is not performance but maintaining range of movement, joint mobility and autonomy, which changes the specification: resistance stays light and progressive, movements are guided, and the exercise can be stopped at any point without the user being trapped by a load.

The site matters as much as the machine

An accessible station is only accessible if the route to it is. Firm level surfacing, a continuous path from the car park or the building entrance, and enough space to turn a wheelchair beside each unit are what decide whether the installation is used. Those elements are drawn on the layout plan issued with the quotation, alongside the station positions and the safety zones required by EN 16630 for permanently installed free access outdoor fitness equipment.

Design point Requirement
Controls Within reach from a seated or wheelchair position
Transfer space Clear area alongside each station
Approach route Continuous firm surface from the site entrance
Resistance Light and progressive, guided movement
Standard EN 16630

Frequently asked questions

Can this equipment be mixed with a standard fitness trail?

Yes, and mixing is preferable to creating a separate zone: one shared area serves every visitor.

Is the equipment a substitute for clinical rehabilitation?

No. It supports adapted physical activity in an outdoor setting. Clinical protocols remain the responsibility of the establishment.

Who do you supply?
