Chess Table BLH-1514 — Accessible Outdoor Games Table

Wellbeing is not only physical. The Chess Table BLH-1514 adds the cognitive and social dimension to an inclusive outdoor area: a weatherproof games table with an integrated chessboard, designed so wheelchair users sit at it as comfortably as anyone else.

Why a chess table belongs in a fitness area

Well-designed public spaces mix movement, rest and encounter. Placed among BLH fitness stations, the chess table becomes the social anchor of the site — where generations meet, where users rest between stations, and where people who came to watch end up staying. Chess itself trains memory, concentration and strategic thinking, making the table a genuine cognitive station rather than mere furniture.

• Integrated chessboard with a clear, durable, weather-resistant playing surface
• Wheelchair-accessible design: adapted table height and clear space beneath the top
• Ergonomic seating for standing-height users on the other sides
• Robust materials resisting wear, UV and extreme weather
• Minimal upkeep — an occasional clean keeps it presentable year-round
