Description
Inclusion in sport is a necessity, not an option. The Chest & Arms Strength Training Station BLH-1517 lets wheelchair users and standing users train chest, arms and shoulders on the same outdoor unit — with adjustable resistance that scales from first rehabilitation sessions to genuine strength work.

Strength training designed around the user
n
Ergonomic handles give a comfortable, secure grip; the resistance system adjusts to each user’s ability; and the open frame leaves a wide clear space for a wheelchair to roll straight into position. The result is a station anyone can operate intuitively and safely, without transfers or assistance.

Three guided exercises
n
Chest press (3 x 12): grip the handles and push forward slowly, returning under control — pectorals and triceps. Arm extension (3 x 10): press the handles down keeping elbows close to the body — triceps. Shoulder raise (3 x 12): lift the handles upward with a controlled descent — stabiliser muscles and posture. For wheelchair users, stronger pressing muscles translate directly into daily autonomy: transfers, propulsion and posture all improve.

Frequently asked questions
n
Can beginners and rehabilitation patients use the BLH-1517?
n
Yes — the adjustable resistance starts gentle enough for post-injury and post-operative programmes, then progresses as the user gains strength.
n
Does outdoor installation shorten its life?
n
No. The hot-dip galvanised structure and UV-resistant finish are specified for permanent outdoor exposure and intensive public use.
n
How does it fit into a wider accessible circuit?
n
Pair it with pulling and cardio stations from the BLH range so users can alternate pushing, pulling and endurance work in one inclusive course.
