Guided movement, no impact

An air walker or a cross trainer holds the user on a fixed path. There is no landing phase and no free load, so the risk profile is very different from running games on hard ground, and there is nothing for a child to set incorrectly. That is what makes the family suitable for free public access: it works without an instructor, and a queue of children of different sizes can use the same unit one after the other without any adjustment.

Specifying a children cardio area

Ten references are listed. Multi station units combine two or three exercises on one frame, which reduces the number of foundations on a small site. Indicative prices are published for each reference, and delivery and installation in France are handled by Light In Fitness. Impact attenuating surfacing to EN 1177 is specified where the layout requires it, and the surfaced area is shown on the plan supplied with the quotation.

No. Dimensions, handle heights and step spacing are sized for children, which is why the two families are listed separately.

What surfacing is needed?

Surfacing conforming to EN 1177 is specified according to the layout; the area concerned appears on the plan issued with the quotation.

Can cardio units be mixed with balance stations?

Yes, and most children fitness areas combine both families on a single layout.
