OUTDOOR FITNESS I outdoor exercise equipment
OUTDOOR FITNESS I outdoor exercise equipment : notre sélection professionnelle
OUTDOOR FITNESS I is a 37 unit collection of outdoor exercise equipment built to turn a public or private open space into a multi purpose sports area. It is specified by local authorities, municipalities, schools, campsites, private residential schemes, sports complexes and military bases that need robust equipment usable by a wide range of ages and abilities.
Construction and service life
Units are manufactured in hot dip galvanised steel, which is the reference treatment for equipment left permanently outdoors without shelter. Galvanising protects the section from the inside of the tube outwards, so a scratch on the surface does not start corrosion the way it does on a painted only frame. That is what makes the difference between an installation that still looks acceptable after eight winters and one that has to be repainted after three.
Planning a free access fitness area
The equipment is designed for use without an instructor: loading is by body weight and there is no setting for the user to change. Permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment in free public access falls under EN 16630, which is the reference to cite in a tender document. A layout plan showing station positions and safety zones is prepared with the quotation, and installation is carried out in France.
