Description
The Double Air Skier BLO-064 brings side-to-side training to the outdoor gym: two suspended platforms swing laterally like a skier’s legs, working hips, waist and thighs in the frontal plane — the direction of movement most fitness equipment ignores, and the one balance depends on.

Training the sideways body
n
Standing on the platform and holding the handlebar, the user swings both legs left and right in a controlled pendulum. The movement strengthens hip abductors and adductors, obliques and deep trunk stabilisers, while continuously challenging lateral balance. For sports players it builds the change-of-direction base; for older users it targets the exact stabilising system that prevents sideways falls; for everyone it adds a genuinely fun, skiing-style rhythm to a cardio circuit.

Completing the movement map of your circuit

A well-designed outdoor gym covers all planes of motion: air walkers for forward-back, twist stations for rotation — and the air skier for lateral work. The BLO-064 fills that slot with double capacity. Light In Fitness delivers the technical study and 3D layout with each project, ships across France, Europe and internationally, and offers certified installation, spare parts and manufacturer warranty.

Frequently asked questions
n
Is the lateral swing difficult to learn?
n
No — the platform guides the arc and the handlebar gives constant support; most users find the skiing rhythm within a few swings.
n
Why train the frontal plane at all?
n
Sideways stability protects hips and knees, underpins sports agility, and is the plane in which most balance-related falls occur — yet almost no standard machine trains it.
n
Can it be paired with other double stations?
n
Yes — sites often line up the Double Air Skier with double walkers and twist stations to create a partner-friendly cardio row.
