Description
The modular 3×3 basketball court measures 17.3 × 14.1 m overall: a half-court built to the dimensions of 3×3 basketball, the discipline that became Olympic at Tokyo 2020, with a single backboard and the complete court marking. Supplied and installed throughout France by Light In Fitness.
A dedicated half-court for the fastest-growing basketball format
3×3 basketball needs less land than a full court, runs on a single hoop and thrives in urban settings – which is exactly what this 244 m² enclosure delivers. The key, the three-point arc and the no-charge semicircle are integrated into the surface, so players train and compete on authentic 3×3 geometry from day one. It also doubles as a streetball and shooting-practice court between organised sessions.
Key features
- Court geometry matching the 3×3 basketball discipline format
- Complete marking – key and three-point arc – integrated into the surface
- Elastomer tile surface, the reference for outdoor basketball
- Modular steel fence with bar, mesh or solid HDPE infill; free RAL colours
- Combines with a Standard court to form a two-platform complex
Why elastomer tiles for basketball
This configuration is supplied with an elastomer tile surface: the cushioning protects joints on repeated jumps and landings, the texture keeps grip predictable in the wet, and worn or damaged tiles can be replaced individually without redoing the court. It is the surface most outdoor basketball programmes standardise on.

Frequently asked questions
Is a 3×3 half-court enough for a club or school?
For 3×3 basketball, yes – the discipline is played on exactly this footprint with one hoop. It is also an efficient training asset: shooting drills, one-on-one work and small-sided games all run on a half-court, which is why many facilities add one alongside a full pitch.
Can it be combined with a multisport court?
Yes. The 3×3 court is designed to sit against a Standard multisport court on a shared enclosure line, creating a two-platform complex where footballers and basketball players no longer compete for the same surface.
Are hoop height and marking colours customisable?
Marking colours and the enclosure RAL shades are chosen at design stage. The layout drawing you validate before manufacture fixes every dimension and colour, so the delivered court matches the plan exactly.
