Freestanding CrossFit rigs : notre sélection professionnelle

A freestanding CrossFit rig stands on its own footprint, with no wall or ceiling fixing required. Twenty configurations are listed. Also called a freestanding rig, it carries pull up bars, monkey bars, dip stations, squat racks and storage for bars and discs, and it is specified for training boxes, gyms, physical preparation centres, hotels, emergency service bases and leisure venues.

Why the absence of wall fixing matters

Wall mounted rigs are cheaper in steel but they commit you to a wall, and that wall has to be structurally capable of taking pull loads. In a leased unit, a hotel, a converted warehouse with cladding rather than masonry, or a building where the tenant cannot drill into the structure, that condition is often impossible to satisfy. A freestanding structure removes the question: the loads are resolved through the frame and the floor, and the rig can be dismantled and moved if the lease ends.

Specifying the structure

Reinforced steel with modular uprights lets a rig be extended along its length as membership grows. The two things to settle early are the number of simultaneous training positions, since that is what limits class size, and the floor build up beneath the rig, because rubber gym flooring tiles under the uprights change both the height and the load spread. Outdoor configurations are possible depending on the specification.

Point Freestanding rig
Fixing No wall or ceiling fixing required

Extension Modular uprights, extendable along the length
Relocation Can be dismantled and reinstalled
Floor Rubber flooring build up to be confirmed before order

Frequently asked questions

Does a freestanding rig need to be bolted to the floor?

It depends on the configuration and the intended use. The requirement is confirmed with the technical drawing supplied at quotation stage.

Can it be installed outdoors?

Some configurations allow it, subject to the finish specified and the anchorage. Tell us at enquiry stage if the rig is for outdoor use.

How many athletes can train at once?

That follows the number of usable stations along the rig, which is the figure to fix before choosing a length.
