Bodytone GT12 CrossFit cage, group training for 12 to 15

The Bodytone GT12 is a professional CrossFit cage measuring 311 x 131 x 239 cm, weighing 253 kg net, and designed for group training with 12 to 15 users at once. The structure is built from 100 x 50 mm steel tube in 3 mm wall thickness, robot welded and joined with 8 + 8 mm plate to plate connectors. Nine galvanised Ø25 mm hangers run along the frame for bands, ropes and bags, and a 35 kg punch bag with its hanger is supplied with the cage.

Sizing a cage for group classes

The figure that decides whether a rig works for a box is not its length but the number of usable stations along it. At 311 cm with multi grip pull up bars, adjustable safety supports and nine hangers, the GT12 supports 12 to 15 participants in a rotating class format: some on the bars, some on rings or bands from the hangers, some working with a barbell inside the uprights, and one on the bag.

Installation, ceiling height and floor

Overall height is 239 cm, so a clear ceiling of 280 cm is a sensible minimum and 300 cm is better if members perform kipping pull ups or muscle ups. Around the cage, allow at least 150 cm on the working sides so a class can move between stations without collisions, and more where the punch bag swings.

Net weight is 253 kg before any barbells or plates, and body weight movements on a rig apply dynamic rather than static load. Fit rubber tiles of 20 mm or more under the whole footprint and the surrounding working zone, and include the hanger fixings, the safety support pins and the frame bolts in the routine safety inspection. The cage is specified for indoor use.

Are accessories included?

The punch bag and its hanger are supplied with the cage. Rings, ropes, storage pegs, dip bars and targets are additional and are selected at quotation stage so the rig matches the class formats actually run.

Can 15 people really train at once?

In a rotating circuit, yes. Fifteen simultaneous users of the same station is not the claim; the frame provides enough distinct working positions for a class of that size to rotate without waiting.

Does the cage need anchoring?

At 253 kg the structure is self supporting in a standard configuration. Anchoring is decided on site according to the flooring and the intensity of use, and is generally recommended where heavy kipping or bag work is programmed.
