Description
The M13 is the only rig in the catalogue designed as a growth path: you buy the starting module, then add sections as your classes fill, without ever dismantling or replacing the structure you already own. A new box opening with 5 to 8 athletes per class does not need a 7.35 m rig, and cannot justify one. But a fixed compact cage will block that same box when classes reach 12 and then 15.
The M series extends by adding modules to the end of the existing structure. The starting M13 covers 5 to 8 athletes. Adding a section takes it to the M14 for 8 to 10, then the M15 for 10 to 14, then the M16 for 14 to 18. Each step lengthens the rig and adds stations, and each step is bought when the classes actually justify it rather than in anticipation.
The financial argument is straightforward. A complete M16 costs 8,450 EUR excluding VAT on day one, for capacity that a new box may not use for twelve to eighteen months. The M13 costs 3,250 EUR excluding VAT at launch, which preserves 5,200 EUR of cash at the point when rent, deposits, insurance, marketing and small equipment are all competing for it, and each upgrade is funded by the membership growth that made it necessary. The structure is freestanding, so no load bearing wall is required and it can stand anywhere in the room.

Which rig suits which situation
Three cases cover most enquiries. If you are certain your classes will stay at 8 to 12 athletes and you have a concrete load bearing wall of 7.50 m, the fixed wall mounted Model 1A gives the best immediate value at the same price. If you are opening a box and want to invest progressively, the M13 with later upgrades is the only route that does not involve replacing equipment. If your room has non standard dimensions and no growth is planned, a made to measure freestanding structure is the answer. The practical point to plan for with the M series is the space the future modules will need: leave the room at the end of the rig free from the start, otherwise the upgrade path is blocked by the equipment you install around it. We will draw the full growth footprint from your floor plan free of charge before you order the first module.
Frequently asked questions
Does upgrading mean dismantling the rig?
No. Sections are added to the end of the existing structure, which stays in place. That is the whole point of the series.
When should I upgrade?
The usual triggers are classes regularly full at 8 athletes for the M14, two full sessions a day for the M15, and regular classes of 15 or more for the M16.
Do I need a load bearing wall?
No. The M13 is freestanding and anchored into the floor slab, so it can stand anywhere in the room, including away from the perimeter to allow circulation on both sides.
