Etenon Olympic plate loaded machines
Etenon Olympic plate loaded machines : notre sélection professionnelle
The Etenon Olympic range is a line of plate loaded strength machines for professional gyms and performance centres, on which resistance is added with standard 51 mm Olympic plates. Because there is no weight stack and no proprietary cartridge, load progression is limited only by the frame and by the plates on site. Frames are reinforced steel built for intensive commercial use, with wide bases, non slip feet and high density foam upholstery under a tear resistant cover.
What the range covers
Pressing movements: flat, incline and decline chest press, shoulder press. Pulling movements: lat pulldown, seated row, high row. Lower body: leg press, hack squat, leg extension, seated leg curl, hip thrust, calf raise. Plus abdominal, biceps and triceps stations and landmine or multi bar units. Movement paths are converging where the exercise benefits from it, which keeps the working axis close to the natural joint path while retaining a guided trajectory. Seats and back pads adjust across a wide range so the same machine serves different body sizes without compromise.
Where an Etenon Olympic line makes sense
| Facility | Fit | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Performance and strength gym | Strong | High load ceiling, free weight feel |
| CrossFit box with a strength area | Strong | Plate compatible with existing bumper stock |
| Commercial fitness club | Partial | Best combined with selectorised stations |
| Hotel or small studio | Limited | Plate handling and storage need space |
| Military or emergency service site | Strong | Low maintenance, no cables to replace |
Practical points before ordering
Plate storage is the item that decides whether the area stays usable. Plate trees must sit within reach of every machine, since plates left on the floor damage frames and block circulation routes. Allow the machine footprint plus a loading zone on both sleeve sides, which is wider than the catalogue dimension. Keep one plate standard across the facility so plates move freely between machines and bars. Under loading points, rubber gym flooring tiles protect the slab and cut noise. Standards, warranty and delivery
Indoor fitness equipment falls under EN 957, published as EN ISO 20957, with classes according to intended use, and the class appears on the documentation supplied with each machine. Warranty runs from 2 to 5 years depending on the range, with extensions available on steel structures. Stocked references ship in 5 to 10 working days, with standard delivery to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg and export priced project by project.
Frequently asked questions
Do these machines work with plates we already own?
Yes, provided the plates have the standard 51 mm bore, whether cast iron or rubber bumper. That compatibility is one of the main reasons operators choose plate loaded over selectorised in a strength area. Fractional plates are worth adding so users can progress in steps smaller than 5 kg per side.
How does maintenance compare with selectorised machines?
Lower, because there are no cables or pulleys to inspect and replace. Servicing is limited to bearings, bushes, fixings and upholstery. That difference becomes material in a busy facility where cable replacement on a selectorised line is a recurring annual cost.
Can an Etenon line be built up in phases?
Yes, and phasing is common because plate loaded stations are self contained. Keeping to one line across phases keeps upholstery colours and frame finishes consistent, so the area still reads as a single installation. Tell us at quotation stage that the project is phased and we will confirm expected availability of the models chosen.
Send us your available area, ceiling height and the movements you want covered, and we will return an Etenon specification with a layout drawing. Request a quotation for a reply within 24 working hours.
