Description
The Etenon R5504 is a 45-degree leg press from the R5 Plate Loaded range. The inclined path follows a natural, controlled trajectory for the lower limbs, loading the quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings, and the platform can be locked or released for bilateral or unilateral work.
Built around the carriage
On a leg press the carriage is the component that decides whether the machine still runs smoothly after five years. The R5504 uses two bearing points on the carriage, industrial bearings and high-grade fasteners throughout, with three safety catches set at different heights. The converging movement path is designed to feel natural to a first-time user while remaining valid for an experienced one — which is what the manufacturer means by expert biomechanics accessible to any user.

Installation figures
The machine measures 251 x 173 x 161 cm and weighs 340 kg before any plates are added. That figure must be checked against permissible floor loading for installations above ground level, and the loading horns should be reachable from a plate tree so that plates are not carried across the floor.

Frequently asked questions
What does releasing the platform change?
With the platform locked the user presses bilaterally. Released, each side moves independently, which exposes side-to-side differences and lets a coach load each leg to its own capacity.
Why does upholstery density matter?
A 160 kg/m3 polyurethane pad keeps its shape under repeated heavy loading instead of compressing permanently. On a commercial floor, upholstery failure is usually what dates a machine first.
Are plates included?
No. This is a plate-loaded machine; Olympic plates are a separate line item. The four storage horns hold the plates at the station between sets.
