Double power racks for two lifting stations
Double power racks for two lifting stations : notre sélection professionnelle
A double power rack puts two complete lifting stations back to back on one frame, so two athletes train heavy at the same time within a single footprint and a single foundation. It is the structure specified where a strength area has to serve a squad rather than an individual: sports clubs, physical preparation rooms, armed forces facilities and busy commercial floors.
The reference
| Model | Stations | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Double power rack | Two independent lifting stations | Squat, bench, press and pull-up work |
The reason a double rack outperforms two separate racks is not only price. A shared frame is more rigid than two lighter ones, the pull-up bars and storage are common to both stations, and the whole assembly presents one clear circulation pattern instead of two competing ones. On a plan, that difference is usually worth several square metres.
Three checks before ordering: ceiling height above the pull-up bar, the floor build-up under the rack, which needs impact tiles in the drop zone, and the clearance behind each station for barbell entry and exit. Structures follow the EN ISO 20957 family of requirements. See squat racks and power racks, Olympic barbells and rubber gym flooring tiles.
