Description
The Double Power Rack combines two complete squat cages in a single structural unit, so two athletes can train in parallel on one frame. It is built in high-strength steel for stability under heavy loading, and is specified where throughput on the rack is the constraint rather than the number of members.
Two cages, one structure
Two independent racks placed side by side need two sets of uprights, two footprints and two anchor patterns. Sharing the central uprights removes one of them. The result is more training positions per linear metre of wall, faster rotation between users at peak times, and a single structure to inspect and maintain instead of two. For CrossFit boxes and commercial gyms where the squat rack is the bottleneck between 18:00 and 20:00, that is the whole argument.

Standards and documentation
The rack is built to meet the applicable European requirements for stationary training equipment, EN ISO 20957-1, together with any building-specific certification your project requires. Light In Fitness equipment for commercial installations is class S, that is studio and commercial use, as distinct from class H for domestic use. The conformity documentation is issued with the quotation and the delivery file.
Installation planning
A double rack concentrates a substantial load in one place: frame, plates, bar and two users. Verify the permissible floor loading before ordering for any installation above ground level. Rubber flooring rated for dropped weight is required in both working positions, and clear headroom must be confirmed for pull-up and overhead pressing work.

Frequently asked questions
Does a double rack really save space?
Yes, on the shared upright line. The saving is in depth against a wall and in the number of anchor points, not in the working area each athlete needs in front of the rack — that is unchanged.
What does class S mean?
Under EN ISO 20957-1, class S covers equipment intended for studio and commercial use, where any number of untrained users may use the equipment without individual supervision. Class H covers domestic equipment and is not appropriate for a club floor.
Is installation included?
Professional installation is offered as an option and is recommended, so that the rack is commissioned in line with the manufacturer instructions and the anchor specification. It is quoted with the equipment. See the wider racks and cages range for alternative configurations.
