Description
The Bodytone FR83 stores up to ten fixed-weight barbells on a single modular frame rated for 200 kg. It weighs 43 kg, is built from 60 x 30 mm steel tube with a 2.5 mm wall, and accepts fixed barbells of different lengths on the same rack. Price 609 EUR excluding VAT.
The equipment that fixed barbells actually need
Fixed-weight barbells are bought for class formats and induction programmes, where the whole point is that a member picks up a bar and starts, without loading plates or fitting collars. That advantage disappears the moment the bars end up along a wall in no particular order. Storage is what makes a fixed barbell set work as a set.
- Capacity: up to 10 fixed-weight barbells
- 200 kg maximum load across the rack
- Accepts bars of different lengths on the same frame
- Rubber non-slip bases protecting the floor covering
- Suited to commercial gyms, CrossFit boxes and sports centres

Reading the 200 kg capacity before you order
Ten bars and 200 kg means an average of 20 kg per bar, which is the profile of a class-oriented set running roughly 10 kg to 30 kg. A set of ten heavier bars exceeds the rating, and the correct answer is a second rack rather than an overloaded one. Split the ladder across two frames, keep the heavy bars low, and the storage stays within specification.
The modular design accepts different bar lengths on the same frame, which is what happens in practice when a set is built up over several years from different production batches. That flexibility is worth checking against your existing stock before ordering: send us the bar lengths and we will confirm the fit.
Construction is 60 x 30 mm steel tube with a 2.5 mm wall and a three-coat paint system over anti-rust primer, which is the finish that survives steel bars being dropped onto steel cradles several hundred times a week. Rubber bases keep the point load off the floor covering. See the full racks and cages range and the Bodytone functional accessories that surround it.
Frequently asked questions
Are the barbells included in the price?
No. 609 EUR excluding VAT covers the rack. Fixed barbells are quoted separately so the weight ladder matches your class formats, with quantity pricing when rack and bars are ordered together.
Will it hold bars from another manufacturer?
In most cases yes, since the frame is designed for varying bar lengths. Send us the make, the lengths and the weight ladder you already own and we will confirm compatibility before quoting.
Can two racks be lined up as one run?
Yes. Racks in the Forza range share the same finish and proportions, so two or three units placed end to end read as a single continuous storage wall, which is also how you stay inside the 200 kg per-rack rating with a heavier set.
Tell us the bar ladder you run and the space available along the wall, and we will return a storage plan with racks and bars costed together. Quotations are issued within 24 to 72 hours.
