Description
The Etenon R5501 is a unilateral leg extension. The seated position, ergonomic backrest and aligned knee axis isolate the quadriceps, and each leg is loaded independently on its own plate-loaded arm with an adjustable shin length.
Loading one knee at a time
A bilateral leg extension averages two legs into one number. A unilateral station does not: the load is set per side, the range is set per side, and the shin pad is adjusted to the length of the limb being worked. For facilities running conventions with sports clubs, working with physiotherapists, or serving members returning to activity after a knee procedure, that precision is the point of the machine.

Positioning it so it gets used
Health-oriented equipment has a habit of ending up at the back of the floor and being quietly ignored. The credibility of a reconditioning offer depends on the station being visible and identifiable, so we place the R5501 on the 3D layout in a defined, accessible zone rather than at the end of a machine row. Typical settings are physical preparation centres, sports physiotherapy practices and reconditioning services, facilities with a club partnership, and premium clubs building a health area.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a medical device?
No. It is professional fitness equipment. Any use in a rehabilitation context is a matter for the qualified practitioner supervising the programme.
Why does shin length adjustment matter?
If the roller sits too high or too low on the shin, the lever arm and the load on the knee change. Adjusting it to the individual keeps the resistance where it was intended and makes results comparable between sessions.
Can it be loaded heavily?
Loading is limited only by the plates available, not by a stack. In a reconditioning context, that also means it can be loaded very lightly, which a stack machine with coarse increments cannot always do.
