Description
The Etenon R5102 is a plate-loaded horizontal chest press. The seated position with a vertical backrest, the converging anatomical path and the multi-position safety hooks give the benefit of a bench press without requiring a spotter.
The members who never touch the bench
A significant share of any membership will not use a free barbell bench press. The reason is rarely strength — it is the fear of being pinned without a spotter. Those members go to the cable crossover instead and never load the chest properly. A guided horizontal press with safety hooks removes the objection entirely, and it takes pressure off the bench at peak hours.

Who installs it
Fitness clubs of all sizes, hotel and residential gyms, corporate wellness spaces, intermediate strength facilities that want an alternative to the free bench press, and physical preparation centres. In every case the station complements a barbell bench rather than replacing it — the 3D layout drawing positions the two so they serve different users instead of competing for the same one.

Frequently asked questions
Does a plate-loaded machine have a load limit?
Only the plates available and the manufacturer rating of the arms. Unlike a selectorised station there is no fixed stack to run out of, which is why strength-trained members prefer it.
How do the safety hooks work?
They catch the arms at several heights, so a user who cannot complete a repetition sets the load down rather than being trapped under it. That is what makes unsupervised heavy pressing acceptable.
Will it duplicate our existing bench press?
No, provided the two are positioned as different offers: the bench for free-weight users, the R5102 for guided pressing. We set that out on the layout drawing before quoting.
