Description

The Etenon R5304 is a unilateral triceps dip machine. It puts the dip on a guided path with plate loading, so the exercise can be progressed and each arm loaded separately once bodyweight dips stop being a challenge.

What happens after twenty bodyweight dips

The dip is one of the best compound movements for the triceps, and it stops progressing the moment a user can do twenty repetitions of their own bodyweight. The usual answers are a weight belt, which is awkward, or a shortened range, which is not progress. Plate loading on a guided path is the third option: the load is set precisely, it is set per arm, and the shoulder is not left to find its own path under fatigue.

Specification

  • Independent unilateral movement, left and right.
  • Guided path holding the shoulder in a neutral position.
  • Plate-loaded, no electronics.
  • Chest support pad and ergonomic handles.
  • Reinforced Q235 steel frame, oven-cured epoxy paint.

Placing it as a progression, not a competitor

If the floor already has a bodyweight dip station, the R5304 should be presented as the next step rather than an alternative — ideally sited close to it so the progression is obvious to members. That is how it is positioned on the 3D layout drawing. Typical settings are intermediate and advanced strength floors, premium clubs, physical preparation centres, and CrossFit facilities adding plate-loaded stations to a rig-based floor.

Frequently asked questions

Does it replace a bodyweight dip station?

No. It extends the exercise for users who have outgrown bodyweight, and it allows a lighter-than-bodyweight load for those not yet there. Both stations have a place on a well-planned floor.

Why guide the path?

Unsupported dips let the shoulder drift forward as the set fatigues. A guided path keeps the joint in the intended position for every repetition, which is what makes heavier loading acceptable without supervision.

Can each arm be loaded differently?

Yes. The arms are independent, so a coach can address a side-to-side difference directly rather than waiting for it to even out.
