Description
The Etenon R8303 is a selectorised unilateral biceps curl with fully independent arms, each moving on its own path with no mechanical link between the two sides. Because nothing connects the arms, each side has to produce its own force and the dominant arm cannot take over, which is the mechanism by which a left to right imbalance is corrected rather than reinforced.
The self aligning pivoting handles follow the natural position of the wrist through the flexion, reducing joint stress and allowing a full range without discomfort. Resistance stays uniform through the movement, with no dead point, where a dumbbell loses tension as the angle changes.
The open design has no front support, so the chest is not compressed as it is on a traditional preacher curl. Breathing stays free and getting in and out of the machine is quicker, a detail that matters when the machine is in a circuit. Pneumatic seat adjustment over 15 positions aligns the elbows with the axis of rotation for each user morphology.

Unilateral work on a commercial floor
An isolation machine is judged on how quickly a member can set it up correctly. Fifteen seat positions on a pneumatic adjustment cover the range of morphologies a club sees without tools, and the open front means a user is seated and working in a few seconds.
The 80 kg stack is deliberate: on a curl the load a member reaches is well below what a press or a row demands, and a longer stack would only add cost and footprint. Placed next to the triceps and shoulder stations, the machine completes an arm circuit within 150 x 132.5 cm of floor.
Frequently asked questions
Why train one arm at a time?
Unilateral work improves the connection between intention and movement, corrects imbalances and increases control on each repetition, because the stronger side cannot assist the weaker one.
Is the machine suitable for tall and short users?
The pneumatic seat covers 15 positions, which aligns the elbow with the axis of rotation across a wide range of user heights.
What is the maximum load?
80 kg on the stack, with 2 x 2.5 kg micro loads for intermediate steps.
