Description
The Shock Triceps Machine makes the dip — the heaviest triceps exercise there is — available to every member, at any load. Most arm-focused lifters chase biceps and forget that the triceps is the bigger, stronger muscle of the two: it fills the greater part of upper-arm volume, and neglecting it leaves arms both smaller and weaker than they should be. This seated dip station corrects that, with resistance set by plates rather than bodyweight.

Dips for everyone, not just the strong
n
Classic parallel-bar dips demand that users press their entire bodyweight — out of reach for many members and too light for some athletes. The seated machine format solves both problems: load the exact resistance required, sit in a stable, supported position, and press. The triceps brachii — long head, lateral head and medial head — does the work through its full extension range.

Frequently asked questions
n
Why train triceps as a priority?
n
For volume and for function: the triceps outweighs the biceps and powers every pressing lockout. Balanced arm development — and pressing performance across the gym floor — depends on it.
n
Is the movement shoulder-friendly?
n
More so than free dips: the anatomical armrests and seated position keep the shoulders in a fixed, supported plane, removing the deep-stretch position where free dips commonly cause trouble.
n
What should stand beside it?
n
The Shock biceps machine completes the arm pair; browse the rest of the plate-loaded machines for the full floor.
