Description
The Shock Leg Extension isolates the quadriceps — rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, vastus medialis and vastus intermedius — on a frame built for commercial duty. Strengthening the front of the thigh is not only an aesthetic goal: the quadriceps drive running, jumping, climbing and simply standing up, and they take heavy demand in rugby, football and cycling. This machine gives gyms, clubs and performance centres a safe, guided way to train and rehabilitate them.

Frequently asked questions
n
Is this machine suitable for rehabilitation work?
n
Yes — the guided single-joint movement and anatomical backrest make it a standard tool for controlled quadriceps loading, with the working weight set precisely by the plates fitted.
n
What maintenance does it need?
n
Very little: the joints are self-lubricating, so routine care is limited to upholstery cleaning and periodic checks of fixings.
n
Which plates does it take?
n
Standard Olympic-format discs on stainless steel horns; we confirm compatibility with your existing plates during quotation. See the full Shock strength range and our other plate-loaded machines.
