Vertical leg press machines
Vertical leg press machines : notre sélection professionnelle
On a vertical leg press the user pushes the load upwards with the back flat on the floor or against a steeply inclined pad, which cuts the floor area needed to a fraction of that taken by a conventional 45 degree press. That single property is why it appears on compact gym floors, in studios and in performance rooms where a full inclined press could never be justified per square metre.

The vertical position changes the exercise as well as the footprint. The line of resistance is aligned with gravity throughout, so loading is continuous and the hips work through a deep range, which trained users find demanding at loads well below what they would use on an inclined press. Set-up and dismount need a moment of coaching for new users, and that is worth planning for in a self-service area.
Ceiling height should be checked against the top of the loaded carriage, not against the machine at rest. Equipment follows the EN 957 family of requirements with a professional warranty of two to five years depending on the range.
