Description
The Etenon PL2567 is a vertical leg press taking up to 400 kg in olympic discs, built on square Q245 steel section and weighing 260 kg net. Vertical loading is what allows that capacity in a footprint of 234 by 171 cm.
On a vertical press the user lies on their back with the platform directly overhead, so the load acts along the line of the legs rather than at an angle. The result is a very high capacity machine that occupies less floor than a 45 degree press of similar strength, with the back supported throughout and integrated safety catches taking the load at the end of a set.
The frame is square Q245 carbon steel in 50 x 100 x 2.5 mm and 40 x 80 x 2.5 mm sections, finished in epoxy powder. Backrest and platform are adjustable, the platform is textured and the padding is antibacterial foam. Four disc posts carry the working load and four more store plates, all in stainless steel, and the base sits on soft PVC blocks to stop the machine walking under heavy repetitions. Handles are non porous rubber, and the bearings and fasteners are industrial grade. Maximum user weight is 250 kg.

Floor loading and access
A machine that weighs 260 kg empty and carries 400 kg of plates puts more than 650 kg into a small area, plus the user. On upper floors, converted buildings or raised platforms, confirm the floor capacity before ordering; this is the single check that most often changes a leg press specification.
Plan the plate handling as well as the machine. Four storage posts hold the working set, but a disc tree nearby saves members carrying plates across the floor, and the loading flanks need to stay clear of walkways. A siting plan with the footprint, loaded weight and access clearances is issued with the quotation once we have your room drawing. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
Vertical or 45 degree leg press?
Vertical presses reach high loads in a smaller footprint and keep the spine supported, but the entry position takes a little more instruction. A 45 degree press is easier to approach and more common on general fitness floors.
What is Q245 steel?
A structural carbon steel grade used for the square sections of the frame. It is not stainless; the corrosion protection comes from the epoxy powder coating, and the stainless components are the disc posts.
Are discs included?
No. Olympic plates are quoted separately, and we can include a set sized to your intended loads in the same quotation.
