Description
The Solid Rock SRX59 is a linear leg press engineered around LM40UU industrial bearings and 40 mm diameter shafts, giving an exceptionally low friction travel. The point of that specification is simple: the user feels the plates rather than the machine, so every kilogram loaded contributes to the effort instead of being absorbed by resistance in the slides.
Structure is 3 mm carbon steel in 100 by 50 mm and 75 by 50 mm sections, sitting on a D shaped base that keeps the footprint compact while holding the machine immobile through explosive pressing. Maximum load is 250 kg on technopolymer Olympic disc posts. The oversized foot platform allows the stance and foot height to be varied, which shifts emphasis between quadriceps, adductors and glutes without changing machine.
Upholstery is high density antibacterial EVA foam giving full lumbar support and reducing spinal pressure during maximal efforts, and the anti perspiration finish matters on a machine used continuously through a busy evening. Mounting plates are 8 to 10 mm. The overall design combines the feel of free weight loading with the controlled path of a guided movement.

Why bearing quality decides how a press feels
Two leg presses with the same rated load can feel entirely different, and the difference is almost always in the slide mechanism. Bushings and undersized shafts introduce friction that varies through the stroke and increases as the machine wears, which is why an older press feels sticky at the bottom of the movement. Industrial linear bearings on 40 mm shafts keep the travel consistent from the first session to the ten thousandth, and they keep the load reading honest for a member tracking progression. That is the argument for specifying this class of machine in a performance oriented club, where members compare numbers between sessions. On the layout side, a linear press needs depth in front for the carriage travel, access on both sides for loading, and a rubber tile underneath. Our team supplies the implantation drawing with the quotation.
Frequently asked questions
What are the machine dimensions?
Overall dimensions, carriage travel and the loading clearances are supplied with the layout study prepared for your room.
How does it differ from a 45 degree press?
A linear press moves the carriage horizontally along the shafts rather than up an incline, which changes the loading feel and lets the machine stay compact on a D shaped base.
Is the upholstery replaceable?
Yes. EVA foam pads are standard wear parts and are supplied through our after sales department in Tours.
