Description
The Bodytone SRX03 is a plate-loaded incline press with a converging guided path and independent left and right loading, designed to give upper chest work without the shoulder risk of a free-weight incline bench. Professional price: 2,060 EUR excluding VAT.
The problem it solves
The barbell incline press is one of the most effective movements for the clavicular head of the pectorals, and one of the easiest to get wrong. A slight technical fault pinches the shoulder, and members who feel that once tend to drop upper chest work altogether – which is why the incline bench in most gyms is used by a small minority of experienced lifters while the rest avoid it.
The SRX03 keeps the training benefit and removes the joint risk: a fixed incline angle set for the upper chest, a converging guided path that neutralises the shoulder, and independent arms so neither side compensates for the other. In practice that opens upper chest training to the whole membership rather than the top 20 per cent.

Who specifies it
Premium clubs and boutique gyms, physique-oriented strength facilities, upmarket hotels, mid-sized fitness rooms wanting a safe alternative to the incline barbell bench, and athletic preparation centres. It complements an existing incline bench rather than replacing it: the bench for free-weight performance work, the SRX03 for guided hypertrophy volume.
The SRX03 is part of the Bodytone SRX range; see the wider chest press machine selection to plan a full chest area.
Frequently asked questions
Does it duplicate an incline bench we already have?
No, and the layout study is designed to show that. The barbell bench stays for free-weight work; the SRX03 handles guided volume for members who cannot press safely with a bar. The two run in parallel rather than competing for the same users.
Why independent loading on each side?
Because a shared bar lets the stronger side take over. Loading each arm separately means the weaker side works at its own capacity and the difference is trained out instead of being masked.
