Description
The Power Line butterfly is a selectorised pec deck with a 100 kg stack, an adjustable incline and a hinge geometry that gives it an unusually natural movement path. Most chest machines are built around a single axis of rotation. This one combines a simple hinge with a multiple hinge, and that combination is what allows the arms to follow the closing arc of the pectorals rather than a fixed circle, so the muscle stays loaded through the whole range instead of losing tension at the ends.
The machine stands 1655 mm high, 1492 mm long and 1235 mm wide, and weighs 225 kg. Seat and backrest are ergonomic: the seat is shaped to stabilise the user’s spine and support the back, and the backrest uses a foam material chosen for comfort under repeated use. Because the movement is supported and the load selection is instant, the station serves complete beginners and experienced lifters equally, and it is used both as a training machine and in rehabilitation settings.

Placing a pec deck on the gym floor
At 1492 x 1235 mm the butterfly needs a bay wide enough for the arms to open fully without meeting a neighbouring machine, which is the mistake most often made when a chest zone is planned on footprint alone. Allow the swept width of the arms at full extension plus a working margin on each side, and keep front access clear for entry. The 225 kg machine weight is distributed across the base, which is within the capacity of a normal ground floor slab; confirm the build up before installing on an upper level.
In a chest zone the butterfly complements a press rather than duplicating it. A press loads the pectorals through elbow and shoulder extension together; a fly isolates shoulder adduction, which is why both appear in serious programmes. The adjustable incline extends that further by shifting the emphasis between the sternal and clavicular portions of the muscle.
Frequently asked questions
What load does the stack provide?
100 kg on the butterfly. Load selection is by pin, so a user can change weight in seconds, which is what makes the machine practical in circuit training and at peak times.
Can it be used for rehabilitation?
It can be used as a training machine or as a rehabilitation device, with the supported seat and spine stabilising geometry allowing controlled work at low load. Prescription remains the responsibility of the supervising practitioner.
What are the delivery terms?
Shipping is 5 to 10 working days from stock to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, with export costed per project. Quotations are issued within 24 working hours and warranty runs 2 to 5 years depending on the range.
