Description
The Power Line shoulder press is a selectorised pressing station with a 100 kg stack, built in chrome and steel for commercial gym duty. The user sits with the arms either side of the bar and presses upward, loading the deltoids through a guided vertical path. Because the trunk is supported against a backrest, the movement can be loaded without the spinal compression of a standing overhead press, which is what makes the machine usable by a far wider part of a membership than free weight pressing.
The station measures 1500 mm high, 1660 mm long and 1380 mm wide and weighs 200 kg, with a maximum load of 100 kg. It is used by competitive and recreational athletes and in supervised rehabilitation work. As with any pressing machine, correct form matters: seat height must align the shoulder with the pivot, and the range should be controlled rather than locked out aggressively, which is worth covering in the member induction.

Where a shoulder press belongs
The shoulder press is one of the highest utilisation machines in a commercial gym, which is why the specification of the seat and the guide system matters more than the headline load. A supported seated press gives members a way to build deltoid size and pressing strength without a barbell, and it gives instructors a station they can prescribe to a new member on the first session.
At 1660 x 1380 mm the machine needs a bay with clear front access for entry and a rear service gap for the stack. The 200 kg machine weight is spread across the base and is within the capacity of a standard ground floor slab; confirm the build up before installing on an upper level. In an upper body zone the press sits naturally alongside a lateral raise and a rear deltoid station so members can build a complete shoulder session in one area.
Frequently asked questions
How much weight does the stack carry?
The maximum load is 100 kg, selected by pin. That covers the working range of the large majority of members on an overhead press, which is a movement where loads are naturally lower than on pressing or pulling for the chest and back.
Is it suitable for rehabilitation?
The supported seated position allows controlled shoulder work at light load, which is why guided presses are widely used in supervised reconditioning. Load prescription remains with the treating practitioner.
How long is delivery?
Shipping is 5 to 10 working days from stock to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, with export costed per project. Quotations are issued within 24 working hours from Tours.
