Description
The Etenon R8404 is a standing glute kickback machine that guides hip extension along a cable path, holding the trunk stable while the working leg extends behind the body. Guiding the movement is what allows the gluteus maximus to be loaded at the end of range, the position in which it produces most force and the one riders of free cable kickbacks usually lose to trunk compensation.
Multi angle handles are positioned at the centre of the station so the user leans in the position that suits their morphology, which is how the compensation is removed. The foot platform has a textured non slip surface with raised edges to secure the supporting leg, and the base itself is non slip, giving the firm stance the active leg needs to control the movement.
Progressive overload uses a magnetic pin with 2.5 kg micro loads. The machine suits glute development, athletic preparation for sprinting, jumping and team sports, and posterior chain strengthening in general.

Planning a glute area on a commercial floor
Glute training has become a programme in its own right in commercial clubs, and a dedicated kickback station is what turns a general leg area into one. The footprint is unusual: 225.5 cm long but only 81 cm wide, so the machine fits along a wall or at the end of a row where a squat or press station would not.
Place it where a queue can form without blocking circulation, since unilateral stations are used twice as long as bilateral ones, one side at a time. Pair it with a hip thrust or abduction station to give a complete sequence.

What is the maximum load?
105 kg on the stack, with 2.5 kg micro loads. Maximum user weight is 120 kg.
