Description
The Authentique Seated Dip machine converts the dip — one of the most effective triceps and chest builders in strength training — into a guided, seated pressing movement every member can perform. Part of our Authentique professional range, it delivers the training effect of parallel-bar dips without the shoulder stress or bodyweight barrier.

Dips for the whole membership
Bar dips exclude two groups: members not yet strong enough to press their bodyweight, and members whose shoulders will not tolerate the deep hanging position. The seated dip solves both — load starts light, and the fixed handles and seat keep the movement inside a safe range. Advanced members simply select more than bodyweight. As arm-focused training grows in popularity, the station gives the triceps the same dedicated, progressive treatment the biceps get on a curl machine.

Frequently asked questions
Which muscles does the seated dip work?
Primarily the triceps, with the lower chest and front shoulders contributing — the same pattern as parallel-bar dips, under controlled load.
How does it differ from the assisted dip/chin station?
The assisted station reduces bodyweight on real bars; the seated dip is a fully guided press with selectable load in both directions — lighter or heavier than bodyweight. Many floors run both.
Is it suitable for members with shoulder issues?
The seated position limits depth and stabilises the joint, making it a commonly tolerated alternative to free dips; individual programming remains with your coaches.
