Description
The Etenon R5506 is a dedicated plate loaded adductor machine with an adjustable range of movement and a seated position that supports the lower back. It answers the single most common request in a membership consultation, which is inner thigh work, with a station built for the job rather than an improvised cable exercise.
Most clubs handle adduction with a low pulley or a multi station attachment. Both work badly: the setup takes longer than the set, the position is imprecise and the member gives up within a few weeks. A dedicated machine removes all of that. The user sits, sets the range, loads discs and works, with no supervision required and a turnaround fast enough to keep a queue moving on short sets.
Range adjustment matters more here than on most stations, because adductor flexibility varies enormously and a fixed start position will be painful for some users and useless for others. Internal pads are high density foam with a wipe clean covering, the frame is reinforced steel with a durable epoxy paint finish, and there is no electronics to fail. Manufacture is European, by Etenon.

Building a recognisable glutes and legs area
The R5506 is designed to sit alongside the R5507 abductor. Together they define a hip area that members recognise from across the floor, which changes how the space is used: a pair of matching stations gets treated as a destination, while a single machine gets treated as an afterthought.
Plate loading means a disc tree belongs within a few steps, and the loading flank must stay clear of walkways. Before the order is confirmed we issue a 3D layout positioning the machine in your floor plan so the arrangement and circulation are checked in advance, together with dimensions, clearances and delivery weight in the free siting study. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
Which muscles does the station load?
The adductor group of the inner thigh, principally adductor magnus, longus and brevis, with gracilis assisting through the range.
Why plate loaded rather than selectorised?
Robustness and simplicity. There is no stack, no cable and no electronics, so maintenance is minimal and the resistance range is set by the plates you put on it.
Should it be bought with the abductor?
Most sites do, because members train the two together and the pair reads as a complete hip area. Either can be installed alone if the floor plan only allows one.
