Description
The Bodytone FH54 combines a leg press and a hack squat in one selectorised frame. An adjustable backrest switches the emphasis between quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings according to the angle chosen, so a single station covers two of the heaviest exercises on the gym floor.
Two stations in one chassis
Leg press and hack squat are usually bought as separate machines, each taking up two square metres and each idle for much of the day. The FH54 puts both movements on one frame: the user changes the backrest angle rather than moving to a different station. For an operator, that is one delivery, one installation, one maintenance contract and one set of floor loadings to verify instead of two.
Specification and loading
- Adjustable backrest changing the loading emphasis between leg press and hack squat positions.
- Guided movement path throughout the range.
- Weight stack of 184 kg — the largest in this Bodytone selectorised group, matched to the strength of the muscles involved.
- 7 kg increment per plate.
- Net weight 363 kg, on a 117 x 183 cm footprint.
Floor loading and layout
At 363 kg plus a 184 kg stack plus the user, the FH54 is among the heaviest single points of load in a strength area. For any installation above ground level, the figure must be checked against the permissible floor loading before the order is confirmed. Add access and circulation space to the 117 x 183 cm footprint on the layout drawing; the machine is loaded and unloaded from the front, so the depth in front of it matters more than the space behind.

Frequently asked questions
Can the stack be extended beyond 184 kg?
184 kg is the supplied configuration for the FH54. If your membership regularly exceeds it, we will propose an alternative from the plate-loaded range where the ceiling is set by the plates available.
Does switching between the two positions take long?
The backrest adjustment is a single operation and does not require tools, so the changeover happens between sets rather than between users.
What are the delivery and installation lead times?
Allow 3 to 6 weeks from order to commissioning in mainland France, 4 to 6 weeks in Belgium and 5 to 7 weeks in Switzerland.
