Description
The Bodytone FH63 is a selectorised torso rotation machine. It isolates the rotator muscles of the trunk on a guided arc, so the movement can be loaded progressively without the spinal compression that comes from performing rotation under a free weight.
A movement most gym floors ignore
Commercial equipment lists are heavy on pushing, pulling and hinging, and light on rotation. Yet rotation is the pattern that golfers, racquet players, throwers and combat athletes depend on, and it is the one most rehabilitation programmes reintroduce last. A dedicated rotation station gives coaching staff something concrete to prescribe, and gives your marketing a clear answer to the members who ask what your gym has that the one down the road does not.
Specification and loading
- Guided rotation arc with torso pad and fixed lower-body restraint.
- Weight stack of 107 kg as standard, extendable to 134 kg as an option.
- 7 kg increment per plate.
- Net weight 259 kg — verify against permissible floor loading for installations above ground level.
- Footprint 123 x 121 cm, close to square, which simplifies placement in a row of selectorised stations.
Planning the installation
Add an access and circulation zone to the 123 x 121 cm footprint on your layout drawing. The near-square plan means the FH63 can sit at the end of a line of machines or in a corner position without wasting the space behind it. It belongs with the rest of the selectorised machines rather than in the free-weight area.

Frequently asked questions
Is torso rotation appropriate for every member?
It is a general-purpose station, but loaded rotation is not advised for users with an acute spinal condition. Instruct staff to screen accordingly and to start well below the top of the stack.
How does the FH63 differ from a cable rotation exercise?
The guided arc fixes the plane of movement and removes the stabilising demand of a cable, which makes the load repeatable between sessions and easier to record.
What are the delivery and installation lead times?
Allow 3 to 6 weeks from order to commissioning in mainland France, 4 to 6 weeks in Belgium and 5 to 7 weeks in Switzerland.
