Description

The Bodytone FH01 is a selectorised chest press that loads the pectorals through a seated horizontal pushing movement. Independent iso-lateral arms let each side work separately, so strength asymmetries are visible to the coach instead of being masked by a single fixed handle, and an assistance lever brings the handles into the start position before the first repetition. The machine belongs to the Forza FH range and is specified for commercial gyms, hotel fitness rooms, corporate facilities and sports clubs that need a supervised pressing station in constant rotation.

Intensity, layout and upkeep

At 246 kg net the FH01 is a static installation. Once positioned it does not move during a class or a busy evening, but that mass has to be checked against the permissible floor loading before an order is placed for an upper floor or a mezzanine, and it dictates that the delivery route is surveyed in advance.

The 151 x 120 cm base is the equipment footprint alone. Because the user enters from the rear of the seat and the arms travel forward, leave a clear entry corridor behind the seat and free space in front of the pressing path. The stack side needs enough room for a hand to reach the selector pin without the neighbouring machine getting in the way, which usually means treating the chest press as a 2.5 to 3 m2 zone on the layout plan.

Routine upkeep is light: check that the 7 kg plates sit square and that the selector pin engages fully, inspect the cable and pulleys for fraying, verify the seat and back pad fixings, and wipe the upholstery after each session with a neutral cleaner rather than a solvent.

Load configuration options

The standard stack is 107 kg and can be specified at 134 kg. The heavier option is worth taking where the site serves rugby, athletics or military users who will otherwise top out on a pressing movement; a 107 kg stack with 7 kg steps is normally sufficient for mixed membership clubs, hotels and rehabilitation settings. What does the assistance lever do?

It brings the handles forward into the starting position before the set begins, so the user does not have to reach back into a stretched shoulder position under load. It is a practical detail in supervised environments where beginners and older members use the same station as trained athletes.

Why choose iso-lateral arms on a chest press?

Independent arms mean the left and right sides cannot compensate for each other. Any imbalance shows up during the movement, which makes the FH01 useful for return to sport work and for coaches who want to correct a dominant side rather than let the stronger arm carry the repetition.

What are the delivery and commissioning lead times?
