Description
The Mountain Led is a multi level obstacle platform with integrated LED lighting, 9.9 metres long, 3.9 metres high and 2.06 metres deep, built in galvanised steel. It is not a rig: the varying heights that give it its name support disciplines a flat structure cannot host. The price is 16,850 EUR excluding VAT.
A conventional CrossFit rig has one working height, uprights and aligned stations. The Mountain Led steps through several levels along its length, which opens obstacle course work, gymnastic traversing and climbing alongside the usual pull-ups, muscle ups and barbell work. At 3.9 metres it also carries a full height rope climb, which no standard rig can offer.
The 9.9 metre run turns circuit and endurance training into an actual course rather than a rotation between fixed points, while the 2.06 metre depth keeps the structure compact enough to sit against a wall.

The ceiling constraint, and what it rules out
A structure 3.9 metres high needs a clear ceiling of at least 4.5 metres. That single figure excludes most standard commercial units, which run 2.70 to 3.00 metres, and it is the reason this platform is specified almost exclusively for hangars, warehouses, double height rooms and converted industrial buildings. Measure to the lowest obstruction, not to the structural roof: lighting rails, sprinkler pipework and ventilation ducts are what usually take a nominally adequate 4.5 metre space below the mark.
Depth is the compensating advantage. At 2.06 metres the platform can be positioned against a wall, so a long building can accommodate the full 9.9 metre run without losing the middle of the floor. Plan clear approach and landing space along the open side, with rubber gym flooring tiles under the climbing and drop zones.
Galvanised steel is specified here rather than powder coated steel, which suits the humidity and temperature swings of an unheated industrial shell. The integrated LED lighting reads particularly well against the height of the structure, so the wiring route and the ambient lighting scheme should be agreed at layout stage.
Frequently asked questions
Can it replace a CrossFit rig?
It covers CrossFit work including pull-ups, muscle ups, squats and presses, and adds OCR, high rope climb, gymnastics and traversing. What it demands in return is the ceiling height.
What ceiling do I need?
4.5 metres minimum for a 3.9 metre structure. Below that the platform cannot be installed as designed.
How does it differ from the other LED structures?
The Rope Led and Long Led are CrossFit rigs at standard height with LED lighting. The Mountain Led is an obstacle platform at 3.9 metres over a 9.9 metre run, built in galvanised rather than powder coated steel.
