Description
The SFE 1000 is a hybrid structure: a cross training cage with two 100 kg selectorised weight stacks built into the frame. Most rigs are passive structures where the user brings the load. This one integrates guided resistance, so a single chassis covers pull ups, muscle ups, squats, presses and dips alongside lat pulldown, low row and cable crossover work.
That combination is the reason the cage weighs 1,130 kg. Two hundred kilograms of plates plus the pulley mechanisms, cables and the reinforced chassis needed to carry them account for the mass, and the mass is what makes the structure completely immobile under explosive movements and simultaneous cable loading. It is self supporting: no wall is required and no ballast is added.
The footprint is nearly square at 4,810 by 4,385 mm, about 21 square metres, against the long narrow format of a conventional linear rig. That allows an island installation in the middle of a strength zone, reachable from all sides, and it suits rooms where a 7 metre rail would waste a wall. At 2,540 mm high the frame fits under a standard ceiling of 2.70 m or more.

Where a hybrid cage saves floor area and budget
Covering the same functions with separate equipment normally means buying a cross training rig and a dual pulley station, then finding two distinct floor positions for them. The SFE 1000 removes the second footprint. That matters most in three situations: hotel and corporate gyms where the fitness room has to serve very different member profiles, small boxes adding guided strength work to a functional programme, and rehabilitation or health referral settings where cable resistance is required alongside body weight work. The trade off is simultaneous capacity. A long linear rig serves more athletes at once during a class, while the SFE 1000 serves fewer users but covers more exercises per user. Our team helps you compare the two approaches against your class sizes before you order.
Frequently asked questions
How many people can use it at the same time?
The cage suits small groups working in rotation across its four faces and its two cable stations. A precise figure is confirmed against your class format in the layout study.
Does the floor need reinforcing?
At 1,130 kg the point loads should be checked against the slab, particularly on a suspended floor. We provide the load distribution with the implantation drawing.
Can the weight stacks be serviced?
Yes. Cables, pulleys and guide rods are standard wear parts and are supplied by our after sales department in Tours, along with preventive maintenance visits.
