Description
The Double Air Walker BLO-061 is a twin-position striding station from the BLO outdoor range: an alternative double air-walker design for planners matching frame style and layout to their site. Two users train simultaneously on independent pendulum mechanisms, in a movement gentle enough for rehabilitation yet scalable enough for genuine cardio work.

What the striding movement actually trains
n
The air walker reproduces an exaggerated walking gait with the feet permanently supported. Physiologically, that does three things: it loads the hip extensors and flexors — glutes, thighs, hip stabilisers — through a longer arc than normal walking; it raises heart rate steadily without impact stress on cartilage or joints; and it rehearses the reciprocal leg rhythm that gait retraining and active-ageing programmes aim to preserve. Longer strides and faster tempo scale the workload smoothly from gentle mobilisation to sweat-earning cardio.

- n
- Two independent pendulum mechanisms — partners train at their own pace
- Extended hip range of motion beyond everyday walking
- Zero-impact loading suitable for heavier users and sensitive joints
- Handles and stable platform keeping every stride supported
- Hot-dip galvanised steel designed for permanent outdoor exposure

Choosing between the double air-walker models
n
The BLO range includes two double air-walker designs — BLO-059 and BLO-061 — sharing the same movement with different frame geometries. The choice is aesthetic and spatial; the project study and 3D layout plan from Light In Fitness show both options in your site context. Delivery covers France, Europe and international destinations, with certified installation, spare parts and manufacturer warranty available.

Frequently asked questions
n
How does the BLO-061 differ from the BLO-059?
n
Both are two-user air walkers with the same training effect; they differ in frame design and footprint. Your quotation can include both for comparison.
n
Is the air walker useful in gait rehabilitation?
n
Its supported reciprocal leg movement is commonly used to maintain gait rhythm and hip mobility; clinical programmes should follow the treating professional’s guidance.
n
What intensity can trained users reach?
n
By lengthening the stride and raising tempo, the station provides a genuine steady-state cardio stimulus — many runners use it for warm-up and recovery sessions.
