Description

The Lower Limbs Exerciser BLO-051 makes one of strength training’s most important exercises — the leg press — available outdoors, with two press positions at different resistance levels plus a seated calf-raise option. It engages some of the most powerful muscles in the body while avoiding the risks of heavy standing squats.

n

Two press positions, one calf station

n

The leg press recruits the quadriceps and hip muscles — the engine of walking, climbing and standing up. On the BLO-051, users choose between two press positions, each with its own resistance level, so a beginner and a stronger user train side by side on appropriate loads. With legs fully extended, pressing the toes into the platform turns the station into a seated calf raise, one or both legs at a time.

  • Emphasis on quadriceps and hips, the prime movers of the lower body
  • n

  • Moderate resistance avoiding the injury risks of heavy standing squats
  • n

  • Seated calf raises, single- or double-leg, for complete lower-limb coverage
  • n

  • Builds strength, stability and agility across hip, knee and ankle joints
  • n

  • Hot-dip galvanised steel for permanent outdoor installation

A therapeutic profile clinicians appreciate

n

Because loading is moderate and movement guided — without awkward deep bending of the lower limbs — the BLO-051 is well suited to recovery contexts: rebuilding strength after lower-limb muscle atrophy, and supporting programmes around rheumatoid arthritis, sciatica or ankle sprain recovery. In an open park, that means the same station serves athletes warming up and older residents maintaining mobility.

Frequently asked questions

n

How do the two press positions differ?

n

Each position changes the leverage, giving a distinct resistance level — users progress from the lighter to the harder position as strength develops.

n

Can it be used within rehabilitation programmes?

n

Yes — the moderate, guided loading pattern suits recovery from lower-limb atrophy and joint conditions, under the guidance of the treating professional.

n

How does it compare with the Leg Presser Trainer BLO-049?

n

The BLO-051 adds the dual-resistance layout and the calf-raise function; sites with space for one leg station often choose it for that added range.
