Description
The Kids Climbing BLO-055 is the junior member of the BLO outdoor range: a robust climbing unit that channels children’s natural urge to climb into safe, structured motor-skill development — grip strength, coordination, spatial confidence and courage, one hold at a time.

Climbing: the original functional training
n
Long before organised sport, children develop strength and coordination by climbing. A purpose-built climbing unit gives that instinct a safe outlet: graded holds and reachable heights let children progress at their own pace, building upper-body and grip strength, whole-body coordination, balance and the risk-judgement skills playground designers deliberately cultivate.

Installing children’s equipment correctly
n
As children’s play-type equipment, the BLO-055’s installation follows the framework applicable to playground equipment: structural and entrapment requirements per EN 1176-1, and impact-attenuating surfacing under and around the unit per EN 1177, with thickness sized to the free fall height. The safety perimeter and surfacing specification are issued with the siting drawing supplied in the project study. Light In Fitness delivers throughout France, Europe and internationally, with optional installation by certified teams, spare parts and manufacturer warranty.

Frequently asked questions
n
What surfacing is required beneath the unit?

An impact-attenuating surface compliant with EN 1177 — typically rubber safety tiles — with thickness determined by the unit’s free fall height; the specification comes with the siting drawing.
n
Can it be installed next to adult fitness stations?
n
Yes — many sites pair a children’s zone with an adult BLO circuit so families exercise together, keeping the respective safety areas separate.
n
Who typically purchases the BLO-055?
n
Local authorities, schools, campsites, tourist residences and leisure operators equipping outdoor family spaces.
