Description
The Xebex Runner is a self powered curved treadmill on 10 mm vulcanised rubber slats, weighing 150.6 kg and taking 159 kg running or 318 kg walking. Those two separate capacities tell you what the machine is built for: sprint work and loaded walking, not steady state jogging.
The belt is driven entirely by the runner. Speed has no upper or lower electronic limit, so a beginner and a competitor use the same machine and each sets their own pace within a stride. A rear tension knob adjusts belt tension, and the deck can be run in reverse while facing the console, which opens up backward walking and sled style drills on the same station.
Serviceability is unusually good. The transmission runs on four pillow block bearings that can be replaced in under five minutes without dismantling the machine, which matters in a box where the treadmill is used in every class. The Smart Connect console reports time, calories, distance, speed, watts, RPM and pace and pairs with mobile applications. Manufacture is in Taiwan, with a ten year frame warranty, five years on parts, two years on the console and one year of labour.

Placing a curved treadmill in a training area
Curved treadmills belong in the circuit rather than in the cardio row. Members arrive at them mid session, work hard for a short interval and move on, so the machine needs clear approach and exit routes rather than a socket and a screen at eye level.
No power supply is required, which frees the position entirely. Allow clearance behind the machine for a user stepping off at speed, and space at the side for a coach to stand. At 150.6 kg, confirm the delivery route and any lift access before ordering. A siting plan is issued with the quotation once we have your room drawing. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
Why are running and walking capacities different?
Running generates far higher peak loads through the deck than walking does. Separating the two figures lets a site use the machine for loaded walking with heavier users while keeping the running limit conservative.
How quickly can the bearings be changed?
The four pillow block bearings are accessible without dismantling the machine and can be replaced in under five minutes, which is the difference between a short service and a machine out of use for a week.
Does it need a power supply?
No. The belt is driven by the runner and the console is self contained, so the machine can be positioned anywhere on the floor.
