The Xebex Runner is a self powered curved treadmill on 10 mm vulcanised rubber slats, weighing 150.6 kg and taking 159 kg running or 318 kg walking. Those two separate capacities tell you what the machine is built for: sprint work and loaded walking, not steady state jogging.

The belt is driven entirely by the runner. Speed has no upper or lower electronic limit, so a beginner and a competitor use the same machine and each sets their own pace within a stride.
