Air resistance that answers your effort

With progressive air resistance, every stroke reproduces the authentic feel of rowing on water: the harder you pull, the harder the machine pushes back. There is no dial to turn mid effort and no artificial setting. On top of that sits a damper adjustable over 10 levels, which sets the base resistance range: level 1 is fluid and light for warm up or active recovery, level 10 makes each stroke a genuine muscular challenge.

What changed from the 2.0

The move from 2.0 to 3.0 addressed the four things that matter day to day rather than the appearance of the machine.

• Lowered rail for easier access, replacing the standard rail of the 2.0
• Backlit LCD console with an integrated generator, so the display is powered by the effort and batteries stop being a maintenance item
• Footplates adjustable in width as well as length, where the 2.0 adjusted length only
• Two transport wheels instead of four, which makes the machine easier to manoeuvre in a tight room

Comfort over a long session

The seat sits 53 cm from the floor, the height of a dining chair, so getting on and off is natural and does not load the knees. The high density padding absorbs vibration and reduces pressure points over sessions of more than thirty minutes. The handle is bamboo: a naturally warm, non slip grip that stays comfortable with damp hands and outlasts standard rubber.

Console data and programmes

The backlit display shows time, time per 500 m, watts, heart rate with a 5 kHz chest strap, distance in metres, strokes per minute, calories and total strokes, and can switch to average 500 m pace, average strokes per run, maximum heart rate, calories per hour, the force curve, maximum watts and average watts.

Eight preset programmes cover the main objectives: Quick Start, Competition Racing against a virtual opponent, Interval and Tabata, target time, target distance, target calories, target heart rate and target strokes.

Is it built for intensive commercial use?

Yes. The machine was tested to over a million robotic strokes without failure, the frame is steel, and the warranty runs to five years on the frame and two on wear parts. It is specified for gyms, CrossFit boxes and performance centres as well as for home use.

How much floor space does it need?

Assembled it measures 251 x 51 cm. Allow clear space behind the seat for the rower to slide back and in front of the fan for airflow. The two transport wheels let it be tipped and rolled away when the room is needed for something else.

Is it suitable for beginners?

It is one of the best options for returning to activity. The joint impact is very low, the air resistance adapts automatically to the effort applied, the seat is at chair height and the damper can be set to level 1 for a genuinely light session.
